Our sails are entirely manufactured in Italy, with membranes made in our Trieste plant.
This allows us to have total control over all production phases, from the selection and purchase of fibers from suppliers to the sea testing of the finished product, thus guaranteeing the highest level of quality and performance.

MACROS PRO
It is the high performance line developed by Olimpic Sails over 20 years of experience in the lamination of sail’s mebranes and it’s the result of continuous technical evolution by our team in the in-house lamination Lab.
This typology of membrane explores without compromise all the technological quality available in this field, using the best carbon, dyneema and aramid fibers, which are combined according to the intended use of each individual sail: competition, blue-water sailing or daily cruise.
This guarantees greater stability and perfect shape retention over time. Designing with 3D calculation software allows designers to define in detail the stress at all points of the sail. The fibers are then customized according to the characteristics of each sail, guaranteeing the best structure with considerable weight savings.
The sails are made with an external finishing layer in materials that prioritize lightness and shape stability, in order to maximize performance and meet the needs of the owner.
Total control of all phases of production, from design to finishing details, allows us to guarantee a product of the highest quality, made in Italy and with a five-year warranty on delamination.
MACROS SIDERA
It is the high endurance line, derived from the MACROS PRO® technology, created to offer to daily sailors advanced technology sails at an attractive price.
The basic idea is that, even when cruising, fast, andlightweight sails are helping to make sailing more efficient, safe and fun. In addition, technologically advanced materials are better responding to unexpected and severe stresses, ensuring reliability in all conditions.
As with the MACROS PRO®, the MACROS SIDERA sails are made with customized external finishes designed to protect the fibers from wear and UV exposure.
Cost containment is possible through the use of thicker and less dense fibers while maintaining equal durability and resistance to workloads. In addition, all membranes undergo an anti-mold treatment, which ensures greater sail longevity.
The use of 100% Dyneema fibers ensures strength and exceptional shape retention over time. After years of use, your sail will retain the same shapes chosen by the designer.
Compared to traditional materials, these membranes weigh up to 30 percent less, offering better performance without compromising sealing and durability.
